About the Course

Part FOUR of the AMCI Professional Coding Course prepares students for the Certified Coding Specialist – Physician-based (CCS-P) credential through AHIMA. This advanced-level course focuses on coding from real medical documentation and aligns directly with the five CCS-P testing domains. Students will gain mastery in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding, along with in-depth training on E/M services, modifiers, NCCI edits, compliance, and revenue cycle concepts such as HCCs and RBRVS. Designed for coders pursuing physician-based roles in outpatient clinics, private practices, or hospital settings, this course ensures readiness to pass the CCS-P exam and excel in documentation-driven coding environments.
