About Comprehensive Introduction to Medical Coding (Part ONE of the AMCI Professional Coding Course.

Part ONE of Four of the AMCI Professional Coding Course on is your essential starting point in the journey toward becoming a certified (CCS-P or CPC) medical coder. This foundational course introduces all three major code sets: ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II. While providing foundational instruction on general ICD-10-CM guidelines and thorough instruction on specific CPT coding principles. Designed as a basic instructional course, Part ONE lays the groundwork for coding comprehension and is highly recommended before moving into the more advanced Parts TWO (Advanced ICD-10-CM) and THREE (Advanced CPT/HCPCS). While some students may choose to begin exam prep after completing this course, AMCI strongly encourages continued study to solidify guideline knowledge and boost real-world coding confidence and certification success.
